How the table works
Companies in the UK Football Payment Table are ranked by PaySavi Score. The supporting measures show reported payment speed, late-payment performance and whether average payment time has improved or deteriorated.
Average payment-time change provides additional context; it does not determine league position by itself.
PaySavi Score
The PaySavi Score combines four measures:
• 30% — payment within agreed terms
• 20% — payment within 60 days
• 45% — payment speed
• 5% — recent direction of travel
Equal scores share the same position using competition ranking.
Data and coverage
The table uses statutory payment-practices reports published by the UK Government.
Data is matched to verified legal entities using normalized Companies House company numbers.
PaySavi ranks the legal entity that files each payment-practices report. Not every company in a sector will have qualifying statutory payment-practices data available.
Figures do not measure financial strength or every supplier relationship.
