How is this score calculated? ▼
How the score is calculated
The PaySavi Payment Performance Score is calculated from payment-performance information reported under the UK Government Payment Practices Reporting regime.
The score is weighted across four measures:
40% — Payment within agreed terms
Rewards businesses that pay suppliers within their contractual payment terms.
25% — Payment within 60 days
Measures the proportion of payments completed within 60 days.
25% — Payment speed
Reflects the company’s reported average time taken to pay suppliers.
10% — Payment trend
Measures whether payment performance is improving or deteriorating compared with the previous reporting period.
Scores range from 0 to 100, with a higher score indicating stronger reported supplier payment performance.
Your Target Payment Fit
This compares your chosen payment target with the company’s reported average payment time, payment distribution and performance against agreed terms. Where the Government data does not report performance for your exact target period, PaySavi uses the available reported ranges and does not assume an exact payment percentage.
The PaySavi Score is an analytical indicator and is not a credit rating or legal assessment.
Coverage: Not all UK businesses are required to publish Payment Practices reports. The source data primarily covers larger businesses that fall within the statutory reporting regime.
Source: Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade Payment Practices Reporting Service. Source data is reported by businesses and is not independently verified by PaySavi. PaySavi Score, Supplier Payment Exposure and Target Payment Fit are PaySavi analytical indicators derived from reported payment data. They are not credit ratings or legal conclusions.
